2.2. Potential risks and warning messages
Warnings
Use the bedside cabinet in accordance to normal operating procedure
and its purpose.
Before start using the bedside cabinet, read instruction carefully
and familiarize with rated values provided at name plates, labels
and in this manual. It helps to prevent any damage and risk occurring
due to incorrect operation.
Keep the instruction manual for future reference and have access to it at
any time
–
it provides information for operator and patient regarding the
convenient handling and safe operation.
Safe working load of the bedside table tray is 6 kg and it cannot be
exceeded. Do not lean on the table
–
it can cause damage of adjustment
mechanism and lead to serious injuries!
Before every use make sure that the bedside cabinet is in proper
and faultless condition.
Only use technically perfect bedside cabinet - contact manufacturer or
distributor if the exchange or repair of faulty parts have to be made.
If damage or malfunction is suspected, take the bedside cabinet out
of service immediately and label it as non-conforming product.
Use only original Elbur sp. z o.o. sp.k. accessories
–
modification of
bedside cabinets is strictly forbidden without authorization of our
company.
Make sure that other attached equipment can work in a secure and safe
manner (do not hesitate to contact manufacturer with questions).
Make sure that castors have their brakes applied when location of bedside
cabinet is not going to change.
Close tray down before relocating the bedside cabinet. Do not load
bedside table tray during pushing it closer to the nursing bed.
Before adjusting the height of bedside table tray, make sure there are
not any obstacles, such as furniture, window sill etc.
Make sure that no cable from electric devices is rolled over during
relocating bedside cabinet.
Make sure that no cable from electric devices is damaged, stretched
or crushed between bedside cabinet parts.
Do not clean bedside cabinets with a water jet or a high-pressure cleaner.
Clean only with a moist towel.
Never use scouring agents, abrasive cleaning agents, stainless steel
cleaners or scouring pads, because they can damage the surface.
Remove quickly stains, liquid from shelf or top of the bedside cabinet
–
otherwise it can cause dampness of particle board.
Read instruction carefully before commencing assembly.
