The
RMK3 Rack Mount Kit
is designed to facilitate
mounting ELAN dual rack-space integrated Multi-Room
Controllers and Amplifi ers into standard 19" equipment
racks in order to provide optimum air fl ow and heat dis-
persion for these units. The RMK3 will take up three rack
spaces when installed.

Installation
To install the RMK3 into a standard 19" equipment rack:
1. Slide the rack mount kit onto the unit from the
front as shown in
Fig. 1
.
2. Ensure that the unit is fl ush with the front of the
mounting kit. Install each of the eight screws
(included) through the side mounting fl anges
into the holes in the sides of the unit as shown in
Fig. 2
.
Important Note: Hand tighten screws! Over-
tightening could cause damage to the product
mounted in the RMK3.
3. Once the unit is securely mounted into the RMK3,
install the entire assembly into a standard 19”
equipment rack from the front using four rack
screws (not included). See
Fig. 3
