Chapter 3 Troubleshooting
If a problem still remains after applying the suggested remedies, contact your local EIZO representative.
Problem
Possible cause and remedy
1. No picture
• Powerindicatordoesnotlight.
• Checkwhetherthepowercordisconnectedproperly.
• Turnthemainpowerswitchon.
• Press .
• Turnoffthemainpower,andthenturnitonagainafew
minuteslater.
• Powerindicatorislightingorangeandgreen.
• Switchtheinputsignal.Fordetails,refertotheInstallation
Manual(ontheCD-ROM).
• Movethemouseorpressanykeyonthekeyboard.
• CheckwhetherthePCisturnedon.
• WhenPresenceSensorissetto“Auto”or“Manual”,the
monitormayhaveshiftedtothepowersavingmode.
Comeneartothemonitor.
• Powerindicatorisflashingorangeandgreen.
• ThedevicethatisconnectedusingDisplayPorthavea
problem.Solvetheproblem,turnoffthemonitor,andthen
turnitonagain.RefertotheUser’sManualoftheoutput
deviceforfurtherdetails.

Thismessageappearswhenthesignalisnotinputcorrectly
evenwhenthemonitorfunctionsproperly.

• CheckwhetherthePCisturnedon.
• Checkwhetherthesignalcableisconnectedproperly.
• Switchtheinputsignal.Fordetails,refertotheInstallation

• Themessageshowsthattheinputsignalis
outofthespecifiedfrequencyrange.

utility.Refertothemanualofthegraphicsboardfor
