General
Please read the manual carefully. The unit may only be operated and looked after by trained members of
staff. The unit may only be opened by trained service engineers authorised by the manufacturer.
The unit must be kept clear of liquids and may only be run with the indicated voltage (220-240 V).

Installation
1. Before using the unit make sure that the Power switch (5) is in the "off" position.
2. Connect the handpiece to the Motor connector (12) on the Control box.
3. Set the Speed control dial (1) at "0".
4. Connect the Foot pedal (11) to the Foot pedal connector (8).
5. Then connect the device to the Powercord (6).
6. Unfasten the dust cover from the micro motor and put the handpiece (not included) on.

#174027 Straight dental handpiece
7. Select bur (not included) and open the chuck by turning to counterclockwise. Place the bur in the open
chuck and lock it again by turning it clockwise. Check if the bur is fitted correctly and if the chuck is
securely locked.
8. Select the rotation by Forward-Reverse switch (3). (F = clockwise / R = counter clockwise)
9. Turn on the device with the Power switch (5).
10. Use the Speed control dial (1) to to set the required speed.
11. When using the Foot pedal connect it to the designated Foot pedal connector (8) on the back of the
Control box (2). The Power switch (5) must be in the "off" position. you can now set the desired rotation
speed.

IMPORTANT:
Before changing the bur it is also necessary to switch the power off (5) or set the Speed
control dial (1) to "0". Please hold at least 2-3 mm distance between handpiece point and burs. Before
bur changing be sure to stop handpiece running. Otherwise the handpiece can be damaged.
