XDUO 2500 Mixer automation and control
Overview
XDUO 2500 Mixer is designed to operate either as a stand-alone instrument or as a
FlexFactory component.
The following control modes are available with XDUO 2500 Mixer:
FlexFactory component
Stand-alone instrument
Local control with centralized historiza-
tion
Local control with local historization
FlexFactory control with centralized his-
torization
PID control of pH and temperature is available in all control modes.
Each XDUO 2500 Mixer has an independent controller, which has no impact on the
control of other FlexFactory components. The local controller cannot communicate with
other mixers.
Stand-alone mixer
Stand-alone mixer is used in local control mode and is operated via the local control
panel. Output process variables are displayed on the local control panel. The mixer can
perform process monitoring and control.
The following features describe local control mode:
•
The two agitator motors can be used independently or in synchronized mode with
single input.
•
Advanced PID control of pH and temperature is available.
•
Alarm functions are available.
•
Trending data for last 5 minutes is available.
•
Historization (data logging) is available.
•
Operator authentication is required.
•
Hours of operation are logged (available only for Administrator).
The following features are available, if your system has an audit trail option:
•
Data and audit trail are logged on the SD card on HMI.
The SD card is available only to a GE service engineer.
