PANTONE reference pages
The PANTONE reference pages list standard PANTONE colors and the closest RGB
equivalents the printer can print. PANTONE reference files are included for several
resolution and media combinations. You can open the reference pages with a word-
processing program such as Microsoft Word or WordPad.
When you print files using the information in the PANTONE reference pages, you’ll
get accurate PANTONE colors by following these guidelines:
• Make sure your application generates RGB data, not CMYK data.
• In Print Options, set RGB Source to Off, and set Rendering Style to Solid Color.
• Don’t use EPS files because they contain their own color processing information.
