Performing Backup and Restore

In the
Backup & Restore
dialog box, select
Restore
>
Next, select the reference (.fbf ) file or the recent backup you
want restore and then click Next
.
You can select the backup file using the
Browse
button, or you can select a recent backup.

Select the items you want to restore, and then click
Next
.

To restore the system configuration from WebTools

Restore

Using Fiery System Restore
Fiery System Restore allows you to create a backup of the E-36A for quick recovery later when any problem happens.
You can restore the E-36A either from images stored on the local HDD, USB HDD, network location, or from a
bootable USB drive. Fiery System Restore also provides the feature of creating the scheduled backups. You can access
the Fiery System Restore from WebTools, Fiery QuickTouch or Command WorkStation.
You must login to the system as a system administrator to use the Fiery System Restore features.
To access the Fiery System Restore on Fiery QuickTouch

On Fiery QuickTouch, press the
Quick launch
icon on the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Press the
Fiery System Restore
icon and log is as a system administrator.

Follow the on-screen menus to schedule automatic backups, manually back up the E-36A, or restore the E-36A.
To access the Fiery System Restore from Command WorkStation

Launch Command WorkStation and login to the E-36A with Administrator privileges.
Note:
The default password (Fiery.1) will be set after any of the following:
•
You re-install the system software
•
You restore the recovery partition (from Fiery System Restore)

menu, select
Device
Center

Tools
on the left side, and then click
Fiery System Restore.
The
Fiery System Restore
will be displayed on the default web browser window.
