Cleaning the

Printer

QMS 4060 Print System Operation

To maintain clear, crisp print quality, and to help prevent paper jams,
clean the reversing unit every 500,000 pages, 9 months, or when nec-
essary. Use the following procedure:

1

Open the front door of the printer.

2

Open the reversing unit with lever 5.

3

Use cloths or a toner vacuum to wipe any toner or dust off of
the reversing unit.

4

Close the front door of the printer.

Cleaning the Outside of the Printer

Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and

disconnect any interface cables before cleaning.
