Commands Sent from an External Device to the Presenter
* The commands stx (02H), ACK (06H), and Xon (11H)/Xoff (13H) are control codes.
stxPA:a,b;
• a:
Palette Number(0 - 19)
• b:
Clip Number(0 - 31)
This sends the palette number and clip number for the video clip that you want to play
back. If the Presenter receives the command correctly, it returns ACK. Be aware that if
the video clip does not exist, the Presenter does not return ER.
In the 49-Key MIDI Keyboard mode, the clip numbers range from 0 to 27.
stxPL;
When in the Dual Stream mode, this changes the video clip on the selected bus. If the
Presenter was able to start the playback correctly, it returns ACK. If the selected clip does
not exist, it returns ER.
stxPL:a;

Main

Insert
When in the Dual Stream mode, this sends the command to specify the bus where you
want to change playback. If the Presenter was able to start the playback correctly, it
returns ACK. If the selected clip does not exist, it returns ER. When the unit is not in the
Dual Stream mode, the Presenter returns ER.
stxSP:a;
• a:
Playback Speed(-100.0 - 100.0)
This sets the playback speed as a multiple of the normal playback speed. You can set the
range as a decimal fraction. Specifying a negative value makes playback run backward.
Once the value is set, it remains valid until a different value is set or the Presenter is shut
down. When the Presenter receives the command correctly, it returns ACK.
stxRV;
This reverses the direction of play every time the command is received. When the
Presenter receives the command correctly, it returns ACK.
stxST;
Stops playback of the video clip. When the Presenter receives the command correctly, it
returns ACK.
