Use MIDI functionality
NOTE ASSIGN
Here’s how to assign a Note message to a controller. In addition to being used to play sounds,
note messages can also be used to control a sequencer.

Basic mode

Press the
[EDIT]
button.
The display will indicate “EDT.”

Slightly move the controller to which you want to assign a Note message.
In the case of a button, press that button.
The display will indicate the number of the selected controller.

Verify that the display shows the correct controller number, and press the
[ENTER]
button.

Press the
[NOTE]
key.
The display will indicate “NT0.”

[ENTER]
button.
The display will indicate “C–.”

Input the channel. Use the
[DEC][INC]
buttons or the
[0]
-
[F]
keys to specify
the channel.

button.
The display will indicate “N–.”

Input the note number. Use the
[DEC][INC]
buttons or the
[0]
-
[F]
keys to specify the note
number.

[ENTER]
button.
