If the password of the router is forgotten, there is only one way to
recover the password to factory default settings. This password recovery
is also called as “router reset”. Before you reset the router, please be
prepared to configure the router all over again to access the Internet, as
after the reset is completed, the original configuration of the router will be
erased. The following will guide you to reset the router step by step.

Step 1 : Power on the router.
Step 2 : Locate the hole below the word
Reset
on the rear panel of the
router.
Step 3 : Press and hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds using a
paper clip or pen and then release.
Step 4 : After about 1.5 minutes, The router will then reboot itself and
return its default password, “1234”.
