Dynamic-IP Cable Modem – Selects configuration for a cable modem Internet
connection.
Fixed-IP xDSL – Selects configuration for a fixed IP address xDSL Internet
connection.
Dial Up xDSL (PPPoE) – Selects configuration for an Internet connection using
the Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE).
3. WAN Settings – The WAN Settings page displays the configuration settings for
the WAN Type that you have selected. The following example displays a Cable
Modem selection.

For a cable modem connection, the unit requires no further configuration and
prompts you to move to step four.

For a fixed IP xDSL connection, you are prompted for the following information
(as supplied by your ISP):
IP Address – If your ISP has assigned you a fixed IP address, enter the
address here.
Subnet Mask – Enter the subnet mask as supplied by your ISP.
