When the battery voltage is low, the AMBER LED will flash every 30
sec.
While the Carbon Monoxide Detector is transmitting the signal, the
RED LED will perform a long flash with “Ding Dong” melody.
While the batteries are inserted and the Carbon Monoxide Detector is
in warming period, the GREEN LED will flashes once every seconds
for 2 ~ 10 minutes.
While the sensor is taking CO concentration reading from the air, the GREEN LED will flashes
once every 30 seconds.
Installation Procedures
Step 1 Insert the 3 “AA” batteries into the battery compartment taking care that the connection
respects correct polarity showing on the battery holder.
Step 2 While the 3 batteries are inserted; the HA2000CO will sound a “Ding-Dong” melody and
the GREEN LED stays on.
Step 3 The warming up process takes between 2~10 minutes. The GREEN LED flashes every
second indicates that the warming up process is taking place. After the warming up period
is complete, the GREEN LED then flashes once every 30 seconds.
<NOTE>
While it is under the warming up period, if the Test Button has been pressed, it will send a
test code to the Control Panel and the RED LED will perform a long flash and “Ding Dong”
melody. After the transmitting process finishes, the GREEN comes back on.
If the Test Button has been pressed during the Stand-by mode, then the HA2000CO will be
transmitting a Test signal to report to the Control Panel. This is performed by a long flash of
RED LED and “Ding Dong” melody.
Step 4 Put the Control Panel into “/-“ menu and then select “Add Device” menu.
Step 5 Press the CO detector’s test button on the front cover.
Step 6 Refer to the operation manual of your control panel under the section of “Device +/-“ to
complete the learn-in process.
Step 7 After the detector is learnt-in, put the Control Panel into “Walk Test” mode, hold the CO
detector in the desired location, and press the Test button to confirm this location is within
signal range of the Control Panel.
Step 8 When you are satisfied that the CO detector work in the chosen location, you can proceed
with installation.
While the HA2000CO is alarming, with the press of the Test Button will result to ‘cancel’ the
alarm signal and terminate the reporting process. This is performed by a long flash of RED
LED and “Ding Dong” melody.
The alarm will be activated by:
