the rubber hangers.

Assembly

1.

Assemble the overaxle pipe to the muffler using two gaskets
and four of the 1-1/4" bolts, nuts, and lockwashers.

2.

Install the hanger supplied into the two rubber hangers with
the long side to the left so it will lean forward when attached
to the muffler flange.

3.

Slip the muffler assembly over the axle from the front and
attach the hanger to the back side of the muffler flange
using the center hole with the 1-1/2" bolt, nut and
lockwasher supplied.

4.

Now tie or block assembly in place and you can check the
length of the intermediate pipe needed for your truck. The
following are the measurements that we developed. Using
the following chart, cut the Intermediate pipe to the
following lengths, measuring from the front 2-1/4" swage
back.

. Please fill out and mail your warranty card.

WARNING: Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, a

deadly invisible gas.  Correct any leaks before

driving!

5.

Deburr the cut, install one 3” band clamp and slip the 3" end
of the tube into the muffler. Install one 2-1/4” band clamp
on the front and slip the 2-1/4" end over the catalytic
converter outlet.

6.

Level the muffler and snug the clamps up.

7.

You may have to loosen your spare and adjust its position to
clear the tailpipes.

NOTE: An oversized spare tire will

not work with the split system.

8.

Install band clamps on the tailpipes and slip them onto the
overaxle pipe. Align the pipes where you want them and
either tie them or block them in position. Locate a hole in
the frame or drill one for the universal hangers supplied that
will hang the pipes where you like them. The hangers are
extra long so that you can trim the length when done. Use
U-clamps to secure tailpipes to universal hangers.

9.

Start from the front, check for clearance, align, and tighten
the system to the rear.

10. Start your truck, check for leaks, and correct if any is found.

NOTE::

For those trucks that have Roll Pans installed, you can

modify the hangers to fit your situation on the rear exit models.
This will not be necessary on the side exit models.
