• Never attempt to open the mobile phone unit
– as this may damage the internal compo-
nents.
• Avoid dropping the mobile phone unit, expo-
sing it to impact or shock and never shake it!
Such treatment could cause the internal prin-
ted circuits and components to become
damaged.
• The unit should only ever be cleaned with a
suitable cloth. Do not use solvents, abrasives
or other cleaning solutions.
• Never paint or coat the mobile phone unit as
this can prevent the various parts and com-

could damage the mobile phone unit and
infringe radio equipment regulations.

14. Repairs
Should any repairs or service be necessary, then
the conditions of ELEX V must be complied with.
It is recommended that the manufacturer carry
out such repairs in order to check for the safe
functioning of the protective circuits.
15. Cleaning
Your mobile phone was manufactured with great
care and should be treated accordingly.
Observing the following suggestions will help
avoid the guarantee from becoming invalidated
and also help ensure that the unit continues to
provide a high quality function to the user.
• Store the mobile phone unit in a dry place.
Rain, humidity and liquids contain minerals
which can corrode electronic circuits.
• Avoid using the mobile phone unit in dusty or
dirty environments and do not store it in such
environments.
• Never store the mobile phone unit in extreme
hot environments. High temperatures can
shorten the life of electronic equipment,
damage rechargeable batteries and deform
certain plastics or cause them to melt.
• Never store the mobile phone unit in extreme
cold environments. This is because when
normal operating temperature is regained
internal condensation can occur which cau-
ses damage to electronic printed circuits and
other components.
