CAUTION!
Use is permitted only by trained personnel.
The
LMIT09
must be operated only by personnel trained in its use, under
consideration of PPE requirements and all available operating instructions
‘Available instructions’ on page 4
). Suitable measures must be
taken to prevent access by unauthorised personnel.
CAUTION!
This measuring device has been constructed and tested in accordance with
EN 61010- 1 (part 1), and was in a technically perfect and safe condition
when it left the factory.
All work on live components must be performed by authorised, trained
specialists in accordance with local regulations.
The conductivity and temperature transmitter
LMIT09
must be operated
only with 24 V direct or alternating current. Repair work must only be
carried out when the unit is switched off and depressurised.
2.1
General safety advice
DANGER!
If you believe that the unit can no longer be operated safely, you must
decommission the pump immediately and secure it so that it cannot be
used inadvertently.
This applies:
– If visible damage is present
– If the pump no longer appears to be operational
– After prolonged periods of storage under unfavourable conditions
(perform functional check).
The following instructions must always be observed:
– Prior to carrying out any work on electric parts, switch off the power
supply and secure the system against being switched back on again.
– Obey the safety regulations and wear the required protective clothing
when working with chemicals.
– Attention must be paid to all information included on the product data
sheet for the dosing medium used.
– The supply and control voltage must only be connected in line with the
instructions in the "Technical data" chapter.
