7.3.4.2 Alarm message on exceeding metering time (t
max.
function)
If the detergent concentration is significantly less than the preset rated value so that the
metering pump runs continuously, an alarm delay time is started at the same time. An
alarm message is generated if the desired concentration is not achieved in the time set for
it (t
max
). It is possible to prevent the alarm from being generated for short-term, insignificant
drops in the concentration by setting an alarm delay time (DETERGENT DELAY TIME - set
to 0180 sec in the factory).
The metering is stopped (by relay output SP1) when the set time (t
max
) expires, the alarm
message „NO DETERGENT/ CHECK METERING“ appears on the display and the external
alarm message output is activated.
Confirm the alarm message by pressing any key.
The alarm delay time must be set as follows:
1. Activate the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu.
2. Press the
↵
key.
3. Scroll with NEXT key until the next menu is displayed.
4. Starting with the currently blinking digit, enter the required value with the or
key.
The next digit can be selected with the
↵
key.
The time can be set to a value between 10 and 9999 sec at intervals of 1 sec.
5. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
7.3.4.3 Setting the manual metering time
The SP1 output can be activated in “OUTPUT SP1 T =120 s” in the SERVICE
FUNCTIONS menu. The switch-on time is limited by the MANUAL DOSING TIME selected
(set to 0120 s in the factory).
The manual metering time must be set as follows:
1. Activate the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu.
2. Press the
↵
key.
3. Scroll with the NEXT key until the next menu is displayed.
4. Starting with the currently blinking digit, enter the required value with the or
key.
The next digit can be selected with the
↵
key.
The time can be set to a value between 1 and 9999 sec at intervals of 1 sec.
5. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
