GPS information display
The following GPS information can be displayed
in addition to map information when an optional
GPS unit is connected:
• Directional heading
• GPS reception
• Latitude/longitude
• Compass
• Speed indicator display
The GPS information setting mode is
activated.
The following information is displayed
depending on the display type
selected:
OFF:
No display
Type A: Directional
heading,
GPS
reception, compass
Type B: Latitude/longitude,
GPS
reception, compass
Type
C: Speed indicator, GPS
reception, compass
The selected settings will take effect.
ATTENTION
• When GPS INFO is switched ON and “GPS
information” is selected in the screen
settings, the main unit display a information
(see page 19).
• The information is displayed in the following
way.

Directional heading/
Compass:
8 directional headings (North/Northeast/
East/Southeast/South/Southwest/West/
Northwest)
GPS reception
Displays the condition of the GPS signal
being received.
Latitude/longitude:
Speed indicator display:
Displays the estimated speed that the
vehicle is traveling at based on GPS
information received.
• The GPS information display may be
inaccurate depending on the quality of GPS
reception.
• GPS information is updated at
approximately one second intervals. For
this reason, contents displayed on the
screen may change even if the vehicle is
stopped.

Press the [SELECT] (Upper/Lower)
button to select GPS INFO then
press the [ENTER] button.

Press the [SELECT] (Upper/Lower)
button to OFF, Type A, Type B or
Type C.

Press the [ENTER] button.

Press the [CUSTOM/MENU] or
[RTN] button to exit display
adjustment mode.
