The description of the connection and terminal assignments for the digital inputs, the relay outputs and the
SIOX interface is provided on the following pages. For detailed information about the connection, configuration
and special features of the SIOX extension module, see chapter

7.2.1
SIOX – Terminal assignment of the 24 V AC/DC / 230 V AC digital inputs
There are 12 floating digital inputs (24 V DC/AC / 230 V AC) available per SIOX extension module for system
monitoring and/or as measuring points ( meter inputs).
Warning about dangerous electrical voltage!
In order to guarantee reverse polarity protection, only
coded mating connectors may be used on the control component connections.
Warning about dangerous electrical voltage! Danger of electric shock!
The configuration of the
jumpers must
always
be performed when no voltage is present and with the connectors at the inputs
(terminals A1, A2/ ... /L1, L2) detached as a voltage of 230 V AC can be present at these terminals
under certain circumstances! If 230 V AC is applied to an input that has been configured for 24 V AC,
this results in destruction of the extension module (SIOX)!
Wiring of the digital inputs:
230 V AC
: The N conductor
must
be applied at a terminal level (A2 .. L2)!
24 V AC/DC
: If 230 V AC
and
24 V AC/DC inputs are needed on a SIOX module, these
must
be
separated by an input connected to PE! For more details, see chapter
.
