5.3 Patient management
The software starts the driver installation.
Once the installation is complete, it is necessary to disconnect and reconnect the device to finalise the installation
process.

Patient management
The
OT
O
WIN
software allows measurements to be taken, stored and viewed. It integrates a database in which patient
information and their respective measures can be stored.
5.3.1
Creating a new patient
By default, the database does not contain any patients, before a measurement can be made, a new patient must be
created. To do this, click on the
New Patient
button in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
Several types of information are available, some of which are mandatory such as title, surname, first name and date
of birth. The date of birth is used to display the normal hearing thresholds, so it is important to fill it in correctly.
All information about a patient can be edited. To access the patient record screen, select the patient and click the
Edit
patient profile
button in the bottom left corner of the main screen.
In order to optimize the battery life of your
OTOWIN
, the screen will turn off after 2 minutes when the
USB mode is activated and the device is connected to a computer. To turn your device back on, click the
On/Off button.
