Advanced Routing View (shown above) instead allows any output source from the available list to be fed
directly into an output leg. In addition, the standard crossover view is replaced with a crossover for each
band consisting of a bandpass filter, made by cascading a high-pass and low-pass filter. It should be noted
that there is no functional difference between the crossovers in the two views. They just present the same
information in different ways. You can flip back and forth between the two modes at any time without alter-
ing any settings or hearing any audible change using the Routing View toggle switch.
12.5.1.8 Standard Routing
In standard routing, circles connected by lines indicate the routing paths. Input sources A (red), B (yellow),
and C (green) are fed by the selected System Processor Inputs at the left, and routed to the output legs 1
through 12 to their right. The Input Selection for processor inputs A, B, and C defaults to Left, Right, and
Center/Mono respectively.
To change a routing:
• Just to the right of the input processors are three source buttons, A, B, and C. To their right are 12 destina-
tion buttons, 1 through 12 (see Figure 12.5.1 on the next page).
• A connected path is shown by a line from a source button to a destination button, and the letter designa-
tion on the two buttons will match.
• A destination without a source will be blank.
• Connect any source to any destination by touching the source button followed by the destination button.
A line appears to confirm this connection and the two button’s letters now match. This can be done in
reverse order as well: source then destination or destination then source, either will work.
• Disconnect any path by touching an already connected source button and then its connected destination
button. The connecting line disappears to confirm the disconnection and the destination button’s letter
also disappears. This can also be done in reverse order.
