Device description
The ZEB electronic overload relays are three-pole electrome-
chanical overload relays with electronic release systems for
overload monitoring. They are suitable for the monitoring of
AC current with a frequency of 50/60Hz.
The ZEB devices are not designed for use in hazardous areas.
They can be installed in non-hazardous area to protect the
motors installed in hazardous zones.
In the event of an overload trip, auxiliary contacts 95-96 and
97-98 switch and interrupt the control circuit of the relevant
contactor. In this way, they indirectly disconnect the power
flow of the monitored motor.

Current ranges of the
overload relays
The ZEB overload relays are set to the rated current of the
motor by means of a current setting dial.
The specialist personnel responsible for the installation shall
refer the motor name plate or the approval certificate of the
motor while setting the overload relay current.
Motors with a rated current of 0.33 to 175 A can be moni-
tored with various device types.
