Screening the communication cables used
In order to ensure that signals are transmitted without noise so as to comply with EMC B requirements,
the communication cables used must be screened.
Use screened cables or screen the cables yourself with a ferrite ring such as:
Würth STAR-RING snap-together ferrite, split ferrite core, 30 x 20 x 20 mm, for cables with a diam-
eter of 8 mm
Würth STAR-GAP snap-together ferrite, split ferrite core, 31.5 x 35 x 28.3 mm, for cables with a
diameter of 13 mm
Make sure to properly place the ferrite ring on the communication cable at a location close to the
connection side (max. distance of 20 cm from the external device plug) on the touch display.
