5.1 Adding expansions to the XP-503

Before opening
CAUTION
Please note:
Shut down the operating system.
Disconnect the power supply.
Disconnect all connection cables from the XP-503.

Remove the CFast card before opening the housing!
Open

The following also applies to other device versions as applicable.
Unscrew the four screws on the computer housing cover:
Torx pan head screws without plain unthreaded shank
RHS TORX Zn M3 x 5 ISO 7380-1
Remove the cover from the computer housing.
Please note:
The CFast adapter is screwed onto the cover and wired
to the computer board.
All service-relevant assembly parts, such as RAM,
mSATA, the CMOS battery, and the optional HDDs or
SSDs, can be accessed from the inside of the computer
housing.
