The UPS equipment operating environment must meet the weight requirements shown in Table 2 and the size
requirements shown in Figure 3 through Figure 14 . Dimensions are in millimeters (inches).
Table 2 includes the weights of the heaviest cabinet configuration. Actual weights may be less due to installed
configuration. Weights are in kilograms (pounds).

The UPS cabinets use forced air cooling to regulate internal component temperature. Air inlets are in the front
of the cabinet and outlets are in the top. Allow clearance in front of and above each cabinet for proper air
circulation. The clearances required around the UPS cabinet are shown in
Table 3 . Dimensions are in
millimeters (inches).

The basic environmental requirements for operation of the UPS are:
• Ambient Temperature Range:
– ALL RATINGS EXCEPT 1200 kW, 900 kW: 0–40º C (32–104º F)
– For 1200 kW, 900 kW: 0–35°C (32–95°F) at elevations up to 1000 m without derating.
• Recommended Operating Range: 20–25º C (68–77º F)
• Maximum Relative Humidity: 95%, non-condensing
