Chapter 14: About Menu
The
About
menu offers information on the version and status of the control unit and
information about communications.
Panel
This option shows:
The control unit model (i-on Style).
The control unit’s software (firmware) version number.
The installed languages and their versions.
Whether the control unit is configured for partitioned or part-setting mode.
Cloud
This shows information about the connection to SecureConnect, such as the status of the
connection (normal is “Online Ready”) and the Cloud ID. For further information, please
refer to the

.
Comms
PSTN
This shows the current status of the PSTN connected to the control unit. The display
shows “Fail” when there is no link, and “OK” when there is a PSTN line available. Note that
“OK” only shows that the line is available; it does not show if a call is possible.
Panel Ethernet
This shows information about Internet Protocol (IP) settings used by the control unit itself.
You will need this information when, for example, you set up an Ethernet connection from
a PC to the control unit in order to use the built in web browser interface. To change the
settings use the
Communications
– IP Network (Own)
menu (see page 94).
DHCP
This shows whether or not the control unit requires a DHCP server.
IP Link Status
This option shows the current status of the Ethernet link from the control unit. The
display shows “Fail” when there is no link, and “OK” when the Ethernet link is
established. Note that “OK” only shows that the link is established, it does not show
that a PC is logged into the control unit.
IP Address
This is the IP address currently in use by the control unit itself.
Subnet Mask
This is the subnet mask currently in use by the control unit itself.
Gateway
This is the gateway address being used by the control unit.
