IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

•  Heed all warnings, including below warnings AND those included on product.
•  Save these instructions and warnings.
•  For outdoor use only.
•  cULus LISTED for wet location.
•  Disassembling your fixture will void the warranty.
•  Your fixture is prewired and preassembled for easy installation.

•  Read and follow these instructions.
•  Risk of fire/electric shock. If not qualified, consult an electrician.
•  Disconnect power at fuse or circuit breaker before installing or servicing.

CAUTION

•  Connect fixture to a 120 volt, 60 Hz power source. Any other connection voids  

the warranty.

•  Fixture should be installed by persons with experience in household wiring or by a 

qualified electrician. The electrical system, and the method of electrically connecting 

the fixture to it, must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local 

building codes.

•  Fixture designed for wall or eave mount to a junction box only. Mount fixture to a 

grounded, recessed-mounted standard junction box marked for use in wet locations.

•  Do not mount below 5 feet.
•  This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the  

following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) 

this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause 

undesired operation.   
     

WARNING: FCC Regulations state that any unauthorized changes or  

modifications to this equipment not expressly approved by the manufacturer 

could void the user’s authorization to operate this equipment.

INSTALLING YOUR FIXTURE

1.

   Turn power OFF at main breaker that runs to the junction box where fixture will be installed.

2.

   Attach adjustable mounting bracket (C) to junction box on wall using two of the mounting 

 

plate screws provided (F). Either the #6 or #8 screws (F) provided will fit most standard 

 

junction boxes. Position the bracket (C) so that the mounting studs (C) for the fixture are 

 

horizontal. Tighten the rotation screws (C) on the bracket.

.   Wire the fixture as described in “Wiring your fixture”.

.   Remove Lens (B) by removing Lens screw (D), and tilting Lens away from the fixture at the  

 bottom.

   Position the fixture so that the bracket screws pass through the backplate of the fixture 

 

housing (A). Tighten the housing (A) to the mounting bracket (C) with the knobs (C) 

 

provided. Make sure your fixture is straight. Mounting bracket (C) does swivel so you can 

 

adjust to get fixture straight. Reinstall Lens (B) using Lens screw (D).

6.

   Add silicone caulk around fixture to help maintain a weather resistant seal.

7.

   Turn power back ON.   

WIRING YOUR FIXTURE

1.

   Turn the power OFF at main fuse/breaker box.

2.

   Connect the black fixture wire to the black supply wire (hot). Secure with a wire connector (E).

3.

  Connect the white fixture wire to the white supply wire (neutral). Secure with a wire 

 

connector (E).

.   Connect the bare ground wire on the mounting bracket (C) to an appropriate supply 

 

ground or grounded junction box. Secure with a wire connector (E).

NOTE: 

Be careful to connect the wires correctly. Make sure no bare strands of wire are 

sticking out of the wire connectors (E).

MANUAL OPERATION

NOTE:

 You may choose to override the photo control. 

This will allow you to control the fixture from a wall  
switch without the dusk-to-dawn feature.
1.   Snap the photo control cover (G) over the photo  
 

control on the face of the fixture (Fig. 1).
