9.7 Monitoring the serial interface
The device runs a baud rate dependent timeout monitoring of the
communication via the serial multi-function interface. If a data exchange in
progress is interrupted for the set timeout time, the easy800 device discards
the data received up to this time and waits for a new start telegram.
9.8 Displaying device information
The device information is provided for service tasks or in order to determine
the performance level of the device.
This function is only available with devices featuring a display.

This will display all device information:
Line 1:

DC/AC

AC (AC voltage)

or DC (DC voltage).

TCA-/RC

T: Transistor output,

or R: Relay output,

C: Real-time clock provided,
•
A: Analog output provided.
•
LCD/---
•
Display present/not present. This information can only be displayed
by a locally connected MFD-CP4/-CP8 device in Terminal mode. If the
remote device is run without a display, the MFD-CP4/-CP8 shows the
dashes --- at this position.
•
NET/---
•
easyNET connection present/not present.
