4.3 Configuring the module

The following instructions explain how to configure the communication
module with a DA1 variable frequency drive.

▶

Connect the device to the network (connect the RJ-45 plug).

▶

Then connect the device to the PROFINET environment.
You will need the following components to do so:

•

Head controller (I/O controller functioning as a master)

•

Computer (for programming and configuration purposes)

•

I/O device (e.g., DA1 variable frequency drive with
DX-NET-PROFINET-2 connection)
