6 Languages
6.1 General Information
BreakerVisu has language packages that can be used to change the system
language as required for the location where the device is being used. Every
language package consists of three languages stored in the BreakerVisu
program. Please note that the program language can be changed in the
welcome screen. Also note that, while the user interface language is being
changed, the program will continue to generate messages and notifications
in the default language (English).
6.2 Language selection
You can select the language you want in the welcome screen. The welcome
screen appears when the device is started, and can also be accessed from
the home screen later on.
6.3 Adding a language package
All language packages are available at www.eaton.eu.
Every single one of these language packages is in the form of a language file
named
breakervisu_translation.xml
. This file will always contain a language
group consisting of English and two additional languages. To add a language,
download the relevant language package and copy it to the root directory of
the SD card.
Section 2.1, “Welcome screen/selecting a language”, page 9, explains
how to import a new language file (“XML” icon).
