Action
The
Modbus-RTU Settings
pane features buttons
that you can use to configure basic communication
parameters: the number of stop bits (
1 bit / 2 bits
button), the baud rate (
9600 / 19200 / 38400
button),
and the parity (
no / odd / even
button). The selected
values will be shown to the right of the corresponding
buttons.
Tap the
Discover Devices
button to start scanning
the Modbus RTU network for connected devices.
Tap the
Available Device Types
button to open a
table listing the device types supported by the
BreakerVisu program. This table will contain four
Eaton device types and four configurable device types
that can be used for 3rd party devices.
Note
The ability to use configurable device types is an
optional BreakerVisu program feature that requires a
license.
