Cochlear Mini Microphone 2+
Turn on the MM2+
: Press and hold the ON/OFF button located at the top of the microphone until the
LED light turns
green
(
red
for off).
Activate streaming:
Your student will initiate streaming to the microphone via their processor/s.
The MM2+ has a range of approximately 25 feet and is dependent on line of sight. When it is turned off
or out of range for more than five minutes, it will automatically stop streaming. Streaming will then
need to be reinitiated via the processor/s.
Placement of the MM2+
: Once the MM2+ is turned on and streaming to the processor/s, place the
microphone within 6-
10 inches of the speaker’s mouth. Please ensure that clothing and jewelry are not
touching the microphone as it is very distracting to the listener.
