Save the selected function by pressing „OK“.
Turn the Wheel Shuttle clockwise or counter-clockwise to continue the parametrization.
With relay K1, it is possible to carry out actions at certain events, which extends beyond the
pure monitoring and regulating function of the controller. For example, circuits can be
interrupted and alarms can be signalled externally. The functions which can be set for relay
K1 have the following effects on the behaviour of the controller:
–
Purge (setting: purging). The relay is closed during the purge process.
–
Ex protection bypass (setting : bypass)
The relay is closed for as long as the lockable switch in operating unit F-411 or the
external lockable switch F-480 is activated for bypassing the Ex protection
–
Fault / bypass. The relay is constantly closed during low pressure and alternates with a
frequency of 2 Hz while the controller is bypassed.
–
Electrical isolation (setting: Isolation)
The relay is normally closed and opens in case of fault.
–
System fault (setting: System fault) – quiescent current principle
The relay is normally closed and opens in case of a system fault. In such a case, the
following is shown in the display:
XX is the number of the system fault. For an explanation of fault numbers, see Section
3.5 “Faults and Troubleshooting“, Table 1.
–
Malfunction 1 minute (setting: fault 1 min) – quiescent current principle
The relay is normally closed and opens 1 minute after a fault according to Table 2 in 3.5
“Faults and Troubleshooting“ has occurred.
–
Malfunction, flashing (setting: fault flash) - quiescent current principle
The relay is normally closed and opens for the first time 1 minute after a fault according
to Table 2 in 3.5 “Faults and Troubleshooting“ has occurred. Then the relay alternates
with a 1 s duty cycle.
–
Pre-alarm (setting: pre-alarm min) - quiescent current principle
The relay is normally closed and opens when the internal enclosure pressure has
dropped to 0.3 mbar (30 Pa) over the value set for “switch point of minimum pressure“.
–
Overpressure alarm (setting: pre-alarm max) – quiescent current principle
The relay is normally closed and opens if the internal enclosure pressure rises above
the value set for “Switchpoint Overpressure“.
