3 Structure and Function
In conjunction with an enclosure with type of protection IP54 or higher, the EEx-p controller F-350
provides a pressurized apparatus that is in compliance with EN 50016.
For this purpose, it has all the facilities and sensors needed to monitor the necessary purge
phase and then to monitor and maintain an overpressure within the EEx-p enclosure.
3.1 Structure
The controller consists mainly of two components which must be installed separately:
– controller
F-351
–
digital/ proportional controller F-220, with pressure regulator/ manometer
The controller itself monitors and regulates the overpressure in the enclosure, while the digital/
proportional controller doses the air quantity needed to achieve the pressurized apparatus.

As options, you can also expand the F-350 system with the following components:
–
an external lockable switch (F-480)
–
an external operating unit (F-411),
–
a switching amplifier (F-420) for contact loads up to 10 A (25 A for starting currents),
–
an external pressure sensor (RS-485 interface),
–
an external temperature senosr (RS-485 interface).
