The TMP-620 Telephone Transmitter Patch lets you connect your computer soundcard to
your telephone. An additional feature of this device is enhanced sidetone on the handset
or headset. With the TMP-620 you can:
•
Record telephone conversations,
•
Record just your voice onto your soundcard (i.e., record repetitive, canned
announcements)
•
Playback from your soundcard over the phone (phone conversations, announcements,
music, etc.)
•
Or just use your phone normally,
- all with the same headset (or handset), without unplugging anything. The TMP-620 is
compatible with analog and digital phones and standard soundcards. You can leave it
connected to your phone, since it does not interfere with normal telephone operation.
The operation of the TMP-620 is completely automatic. Simply install it according to the
instructions below and operate your soundcard controls as usual. Note: Make sure the
"Monitor" switch on your soundcard software (if any) is set to OFF to avoid feedback.
Playback can be heard in your earphone and on the other end of the call.
To Install:

Unplug headset (or handset) coil cord from the base of the telephone, and plug the
short modular cord from TMP-620 in its place.

3.
