Important: 

Use these instructions along with the tool  manual.

Notice: 

To avoid damage, use the Special Repair Tools designed for disassembly and assembly.

Disconnect tool from the air supply.
Use 1/8" hex key to remove 

96266 

Screw from drill chuck. 

Left Hand Thread 

turn clockwise.

Use a 17 mm open end wrench and a 7/32" flat-end drive punch to remove drill chuck. Turn
chuck counterclockwise.

Motor Disassembly:

1.

Place protective padding around housing. Fasten drill in vise with spindle pointing up.

Use a 1-9/16" (~40 mm) crowfoot or adjustable wrench to remove  gear housing.

Turn counterclockwise. (
