9 Alarms and fault elimination
9.1 Alarm overview
If a predefined limiting value is exceeded, an audible alarm is issued and an alarm message is
shown on the display. If necessary, the device automatically switches off in this case. The
device remains in alarm mode until the alarm is acknowledged. The last 20 alarms (ring
memory) can be stored and viewed. If the memory is full, the existing messages are success-
ively overwritten.
The following alarm categories are available:
A1 alarms – HARD STOP
When an A1 alarm occurs, the device switches off immediately (
OFF
position). An audible alarm is issued and an alarm message is dis-
played. The device must then be restarted manually.
A2 alarms – SOFT STOP
When an A2 alarm occurs, the device switches off in controlled pro-
gramme steps (
OFF
position). ). An audible alarm is issued and an
alarm message is displayed. The device must then be restarted
manually.
A3 alarms – messages
The device remains in the current programme step and continues its
normal operation. The A3 alarms should be understood as “preced-
ing alerts” or “warnings”.
