E:

G:

Tune - Tunes the oscillator

H:

Crash - Starves the circuit of power resulting in NOISES!

I:

Blend - Mixes your clean signal with the oscillator in the HAX

YOUR FIRST HAX SESSION:

1.

Connect instrument to “A”

2.

Connect power to “C”

3.

Connect “B” to amplifier or other sound reproduction device

4.

Set the Blend to 12 o’clock, Crash all the way up,and Tune at 12 o’clock

5.

Stomp “D” to engage HAX

6.

Sound your instrument and turn the Blend knob to find a suitable mix

7.

Continue to sound your instrument and turn the Tune knob both ways and familiarize
yourself with its range

8.

Return Tune to the middle, and stomp “F” to hear the Hi/Low range

9.

Once you are familiar, experiment with Crash. Turning Crash down will make the pedal
less and less controllable, and more NOISY!!

10.

If you have a suitable expression pedal, insert into“E” to tune the HAX with your foot

SHIT TO REMEMBER:
As with any high gain pedal, always keep a good distance from your amp to avoid unwanted
noise.
When adjusted to the extreme right, Crash will essentially turn the pedal off.
