Each PTZ camera must have a unique address (ID). The factory default setting is 1.

The device connected at end of the line, whether it is a PTZ camera or keyboard, must
have the cable for communication terminated by setting the appropriate DIP switch. If
the DIP switch is not set properly to the right ID, control signal errors may occur. The
total length of the cable for communication should not exceed 4,000 ft (1,200 m).
