SCSI Connector Panel (1)
This SCSI connector panel is used to connect either a DVS CineReel
or other SCSI devices to the Pronto2K/ProntoHD.
The DVS CineReel is a specially designed portable, outdoor-proof
disk array. Usually it is used in connection with the DVS CineControl,
a transportable digital disk recorder developed to suit the needs of
on-set film capturing. The DVS CineControl records the newly shot
video material directly on the DVS CineReel. When a sequence of
footage is finished, the DVS CineReel can be disconnected from the
DVS CineControl and transported to an editing site where it can be
immediately connected to a Pronto2K/ProntoHD to access the data
for further processing.

SCSI connector panel (1) This SCSI connector panel is used to
connect a DVS CineReel or other SCSI
devices to the Pronto2K/ProntoHD.
A DVS CineReel connected to the Pronto2K/ProntoHD as a
storage for video material will be too slow for some real-time
operations. It is recommended to copy the material to the vid-
eo hard disk array of the Pronto2K/ProntoHD before process-
ing.
