4. FAQs
(1) Do the network switch and the wireless router require specific settings?
No specific settings are required. If the wireless router enables DHCP
function, ensure the IP address does not start with "169.254".
(2) Why can't VDirector find online devices?
Ensure the network switch's broadcasting function is not disabled.
(3) Do the transmitter and receiver support RS232 routing?
Yes. RS232 and audio routing will always follow video routing.
(4) Is it possible to configure video wall in the 1-n application?
Yes.
(5) What is the networking size?
Limitless, except that one transmitter may only be watched by up to 50
receivers at once. Note: End-to-end latency increases with more watching
receivers.
(6) Can I change the matched transmitter for a receiver without VDirector?
Yes. The matched transmitter will change by holding its ID key to a
receiver
’s front panel for 2 seconds.
