Use
• Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable materials.
• Do not leave the device unattended when it is in use.
• This device is not a toy and should be kept under strict supervision to prevent children
from using the device as a toy.
• Do not allow children to clean or maintain this device unsupervised.
• Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or without supervision. Children
are unable to judge the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric appliances.
• Children in the vicinity of the device must always be supervised by an adult.
• Place the device on a flat and stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over.
• Do not lean on the device.
• Do not use hands or any other body parts to feel the temperature of the device while
it is being operated.
• WARNING!
Do not use the device close to furniture, animals, curtains, paper,
clothing, bedding or other combustible items. The air around the device must be able to
circulate freely. Do not place the device too close to walls or large objects, cupboards, etc.
• WARNING! Prevent foreign objects, body parts (for example fingers, hair, etc)
or garments from entering the heater through the ventilation or exhaust openings.
This may cause electric shock, burns, fire or damage.
• It is advisable to place a heat-resistant covering between the table or floor and the device,
to prevent the heat from leaving marks on your table or floor.
• Never move the device when it is switched ON or still warm. First switch OFF the device
and only move it when it has cooled down.
• The surface of the device becomes hot during use.

• Do not use the device outdoors or in small rooms less then 20 m3
• The device is equipped with a tip over switch (fall protection) that switches off the device
if the device should fall over unexpectedly. When the device has fallen over, unplug the
device from the mains power, turn the power / mode knob to the “0” position and allow the
device to cool down fully (± 30 minutes). Then check the device for damage. In case of
damage or abnormal functioning, stop using the device. When putting the device upright
again, it resumes its operation when it is reconnected to the mains power.
• This device is equipped with overheating protection. The overheat protection will switch
off the device, if it becomes too hot. This can happen when the device cannot draw in
enough cold air. Unplug the device from the mains power, turn the power/ mode knob to the
“0” position and allow the device to cool down fully (± 30 minutes). Then check the device
for any blockage of the ventilation or exhaust openings. Check if the device is placed too
close to objects, such as walls, curtains, large objects, etc. Remove the cause and use
the device normally again. If there is no cause for overheating and the overheat protection
switches off the device, stop using the device.
• Clean the device thoroughly after use (see “cleaning and maintenance”).
• When in use and when stored, do not place anything else on top of the device.
• Avoid locations subject to vibrations, cold or humidity.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive
environments.
