4.20.1 Pressing the pedal

Initial situation

• Pedal in position



The machine is at a standstill, the needle is up, and the sewing
feet are down.

Positioning the sewing material

To position the sewing material:

Press the pedal (5) halfway back to position

-1



The sewing feet are lifted.

Push the sewing material into the initial position.

WARNING

Risk of injury from moving parts!

Crushing injuries may be sustained while lowering
the sewing feet.

Do NOT put your hands under the lifted sewing
feet.
