3. Tighten the screw (1).
4. Loosen the screw (4) and set the handwheel to a scale position of 120°.
5. Move the control cam (3) to a distance of 1 mm from the lever (2), man-
ually press the lever down and manually rotate the control cam until the
pulley (7) engages in the setting groove (6).
6. Tighten the screws (4).
14.2 Basic setting of the thread cutter
Proper setting
When the stop lever (6) is touching the base plate (5) of the machine:
The distance between the control cam (4) and the roller (1) must be
0.1 to 0.2 mm.
The piston of the pneumatic cylinder must be 0.5 to 1 mm from the
base of the cylinder (it must not be touching it).
