Multi-functional corner knife station

To set the base corner:
1. Open the menu
Service > Machine test > Test corner
knife > Adjust corner knife
and set the base corner such that
the outer corner knife edges have a distance of 9 mm ( 
p. 373
).
 Since the needle distance is 10 mm, every corner knife has a
remaining distance to the corresponding seam of approx. 0.5 mm.
2. Open the menu
Program parameters > Corner knife
to fine-
tune the corner knife settings ( 
p. 322
).
 The fine adjustment can be made individually for each different
pocket program.
22.4 Aligning the corner knife station with the seams

Proper setting
The corner knife cuts must be symmetrical to the seams.
To align the corner knife station with the seams:
1. Insert a sheet of white paper.
 This makes the corner knife cuts more visible.
2. Open the menu
Service > Global parameters
and switch off
the needle thread monitor ( 
p. 357
).
