The choice is available between negative logic (the relay switches when no event is
active) and positive logic (the relay switches when an event is active).
The initial status of the relays is dependent on the settings of the internal switches (for
the D-R 290 e.g. SW 1 and 2; see also section 5.4.7 Configuration of the relay outputs

81] in the relevant device manual).
Close ≘ (abort and) close window Send ≘ load (temporarily)

Setting the relay outputs
Left click on "Device" in the sitemap.
Left click on for the desired device in the device list.
Under
Common parameters
in the list field, after "
Select group
" enter the "
an­
alogue output and relay settings"
.
If you know the direct input, left click on the "Edit" symbol in one of the lines un­
der "
Relay settings" "Relay logic"
. Enter the appropriate code using the
keyboard.
If you do
not know the direct input, left click on the "binary table" symbol
in the
"Relay logic"line.
A table like that shown above under "Relays, configuration of the switching logic"
opens.
