Smontaggio sistema di
scarico
Importante
Prima di operare sull’impianto
di scarico, assicurarsi che il
motoveicolo sia spento da un tempo
sufficiente a raffreddarsi.
Allentare le fascette (18).
Svitare le viti (21) per rimuovere i
silenziatori (8) e (9) dalla staffa (19):
recuperare le rosette (20).
Sfilare i silenziatori (8) e (9)
rispettivamente dai tubi (5) e (3).
È possibile rimuovere la staffa (19) dal
supporto (13), svitando le viti (10).
È possibile rimuovere il supporto (13)
dal telaio, svitando la vite (14) e
recuperando la rosetta (
15 ).
Allentare la fascetta (17) di tenuta
tubo scarico testa verticale (3) e tubo
scarico testa orizzontale (5).
Recuperare la guarnizione (
16 ).
Scollegare la sonda lambda (1) dal
cablaggio principale (Sez. P 1).
Per la sonda lambda fare riferimento
alla Sezione M 3.
Allentare e rimuovere i dadi (2) di
fissaggio delle flange dei tubi di
scarico sulle teste.
Sfilare il tubo scarico testa
orizzontale (5) dalla testa e dal tubo
scarico testa verticale (3) e recuperare
la guarnizione (
4 ).
Sfilare il tubo scarico testa verticale (3)
dalla testa e recuperare la
guarnizione (
4 ).
Importante
Otturare i condotti di scarico
sulla testa per evitare che corpi
estranei entrino nella camera di
scoppio.
Removing the exhaust
system
Important
Before working on the exhaust
system make sure the engine has
been switched off for sufficient time
to allow the entire system to cool
down fully.
Loosen clamps (18).
Undo screws (21) to remove
silencers (8) and (9) from bracket (19):
recover washers (20).
Remove silencers (8) and (9) from
pipes (5) and (3) respectively.
Remove bracket (19) from support (13),
loosening screws (10).
Remove support (13) from the frame,
undoing screw (14) and recovering
washer (
15 ).
Loosen clamp (17) of vertical head
exhaust pipe (3) and horizontal head
exhaust (5).
Recover gasket (
16 ).
Disconnect lambda sensor (1) from
main wiring harness (Sect. P 1).
For details on the lambda sensor
refer to Section M 3.
Loosen and remove nuts (2) fixing the
exhaust pipe flanges to the heads.
Remove horizontal head exhaust
pipe (5) from the head and from the
vertical head exhaust pipe (3) and
recover gasket (
4 ).
Remove vertical head exhaust pipe (3)
from the head and recover gasket (
4 ).
Important
Block off the exhaust ports on
the head to prevent foreign matter
from entering the combustion
chamber.
