Replacing the tank flange
Removing the tank flange
Undo screws (24). Remove flange (6)
from tank. Recover O-ring (A).
To change fuel filter (B) use the
specific commercial tool to detach
collars (C) and (D) securing the
connections to fuel filter (B).
Remove the old filter from the
connecting pipes and fit a new filter.
Before reassembly, carefully remove
any deposits or scale from all parts.
Important
When installing the filter (B),
position it so that the arrow on the
external housing is pointing towards
the flange.
Notes
The flange is supplied as a
spare complete with pump and
pressure regulator: the entire flange
assembly must be replaced in case of
malfunction.
Refitting the tank flange
Insert the flange with newly greased
O-ring, orienting it as shown in the
figure.
Attach the flange to the tank with
six screws (24) with threadlocker.
Tighten screws (24) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3), in the sequence
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6.
Sostituzione flangia

Smontaggio flangia serbatoio
Svitare le viti (24). Sfilare la flangia (6)
dal serbatoio. Recuperare l'anello
OR (A). Per sostituire il filtro
carburante (B), sganciare con
apposito attrezzo commerciale
i collari (C) e (D) in corrispondenza
del filtro benzina (B).
Sfilare il filtro dalle tubazioni di
collegamento e sostituirlo.
Prima del rimontaggio pulire
accuratamente tutti gli elementi da
eventuali depositi o incrostazioni.
Importante
Quando si installa il filtro (B)
nuovo disporlo con la freccia,
stampigliata sul contenitore esterno,
rivolta verso la flangia.
Note
La flangia viene fornita a
ricambi completa di pompa e
regolatore di pressione: in caso
di malfunzionamento di questi
componenti è necessario sostituire
la flangia completa.
Rimontaggio flangia serbatoio
Introdurre la flangia con l'anello OR
opportunamente ingrassato,
orientandola come mostra la figura.
Impuntare la flangia sul serbatoio
con le sei viti (24) con frenafiletti
incorporato. Serrare le viti (24) alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3), applicando
la sequenza 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6.
