Rimuovere gli anelli esterni (F) dei
cuscinetti dal cannotto utilizzando un
adatto punzone e facendo molta
attenzione a non rovinare le sedi.
Rimontaggio componenti
cannotto di sterzo
Importante
I cuscinetti (5) e (6) del cannotto
sono uguali ma è necessario evitare
assolutamente di scambiarne i
componenti.
Pulire accuratamente e lubrificare con
grasso prescritto le superfici di
contatto.
Inserire nel perno di sterzo (A)
la rosetta (4) l'anello di tenuta (8)
(con il bordino rivolto verso l'alto) e
l'anello interno (B) del cuscinetto
inferiore (6), dopo averlo scaldato per
circa 10 minuti ad una temperatura
di
120 °C.
Inserire nel perno di sterzo il tampone
cod.
88713.1072 . Premere l'anello
interno (B) sull'anello di tenuta (8),
esercitando, manualmente, una certa
pressione per almeno 10 - 15 secondi.
Lubrificare con grasso prescritto
l'anello interno (B).
Inserire nel perno di sterzo (C)
la corona di sfere (D) con il lato
di diametro inferiore della gabbia,
rivolto verso l'alto e ingrassarla.
Per il montaggio degli anelli esterni (F)
dei cuscinetti (
5 ) e (6) sul cannotto
del telaio è necessario disporre
dell'attrezzo
88713.1062 ; procedere
nel modo seguente: scaldare il
cannotto a
150 °C; posizionare
correttamente gli anelli esterni (F) nelle
sedi del cannotto; inserire nell'anello
inferiore la bussola fissa (E, quella con
foro filettato) dell'attrezzo; inserire
nell'estremità superiore dell'asta
dell'attrezzo, l'altra bussola mobile (G)
e portarla in battuta sull'anello
del cuscinetto superiore; avvitare
il dado (H) e con chiave portare in
battuta gli anelli esterni (F) sul
cannotto del telaio; lasciare montato
l'attrezzo fino al raffreddamento del
cannotto per garantire l'appoggio dei
cuscinetti nelle sedi.
Inserire il perno di sterzo, all'interno
del cannotto portandolo assialmente
in appoggio.
Using a suitable drift, remove the
outer races (F) from the steering
head. Proceed with extreme care to
avoid damaging the seats.
Refitting the steering
head components
Importante
The steering head bearings (5)
and (6) are identical but in no case
may their components be swapped
around during reassembly.
Clean all contact surfaces and
lubricate with the recommended
grease.
Install the washer (4), the seal (8)
(with lip uppermost) and the inner
race (B) of the lower bearing (6) on
the steering stem (A), after having
heated it for around 10 minutes to a
temperature of
120 °C.
Fit onto the steering stem the drift
part no.
88713.1072 . Press the inner
race (B) onto the seal (8),
applying hand pressure for at least
10 to 15 seconds
Lubricate the inner race (B) with the
recommended grease.
Fit the ball race (D) to the steering
stem (C) with the smaller diameter of
the cage facing upwards and grease
the ball race.
To fit the outer races (F) of the
bearings (
5 ) and (6) to the steering
head, use the special tool part
no.
88713.1062 and proceed as
follows: heat the steering head to
150 °C; locate the outer races (F) in
their seats in the steering head; insert
the fixed bush of the tool (E, with the
threaded hole) in the lower race;
fit the other movable bush (G) to the
upper end of the tool rod and bring
it to bear against the upper bearing
race; turn the nut (H) with a wrench
to press the outer races (F) into their
seats in the steering head; leave the
tool assembled until the steering
head has cooled to ensure that the
bearings remain correctly seated.
Insert the steering stem in steering
head and push it until it becomes
axially seated.
