Removing the rear wheel
Place the bike on an auxiliary stand
so that the rear wheel is clear of the
ground.
Loosen the nuts (8) on the ends of the
swingarm to slacken the chain.
Unscrew the nut (1) securing
the wheel (5) to the swingarm and
recover the washer (14) and the
outer slider (11).
Withdraw the axle (2) from the right-
hand side, recovering the two inner
sliders (13), the spacer (12) and the
other outer slider (11).
Important
Support the wheel (5) so that
it cannot fall when the axle (2)
is removed.
Push the wheel forward so as to be
able to take the chain off the rear
sprocket.
Carefully manoeuvre the wheel out
of the swingarm, taking care that the
brake disc does not knock against the
caliper mounting bracket (A) which is
free and just resting on the swingarm.
if necessary, secure the caliper
mounting bracket to the swing arm
using a cable tie.
The wheel is removed complete with
the sprocket flange (B).
Inspect the nuts (8) and sliders (11)
and (13) for wear and renew them
if necessary.
Next renew the slider (10): remove
the nuts (8), and withdraw the cover
plates (9) and sliders (10).
At this point you can carry out any
necessary work on the following
components:
- sprocket flange (Sect. G 8);
- rear brake disc (Sect. G 6).
Smontaggio ruota
posteriore
Posizionare il veicolo su un cavalletto
per poter avere la ruota posteriore
sollevata da terra.
Allentare i dadi (8) sul forcellone in
modo da allentare la catena.
Svitare il dado (1) di fissaggio ruota (5)
al forcellone e recuperare la
rosetta (14) e il cursore esterno (11).
Sfilare il perno ruota (2) del lato destro
recuperando i due cursori interni (13),
il distanziale (12) e l’altro cursore
esterno (11).
Importante
Durante queste operazioni
sostenere adeguatamente la ruota (5)
in modo che non possa cadere durante
la rimozione del perno ruota (2).
Spingere in avanti la ruota per
permettere alla catena di scarrucolare
dalla corona posteriore.
Sfilare la ruota facendo attenzione
che il disco freno non urti la piastra (A)
porta pinza freno che è libera e
solamente appoggiata al forcellone:
eventualmente fissare la piastra porta
pinza al forcellone con una fascetta.
La ruota rimossa è completa di flangia
porta corona (B).
Verificare lo stato di usura dei dadi (8),
dei cursori (11) e (13) ed
eventualmente sostituirli.
Successivamente sostituire il
cursore (10): rimuovere i dadi (8),
sfilare i coperchi (9) e i cursori (10).
A questo punto è possibile intervenire
sui seguenti componenti:
- flangia portacorona (Sez. G 8);
- disco freno posteriore (Sez. G 6).
